The Honorable Governor of Assam, Shri Lakshman Prasad Acharya, attended the Kargil Vijay Diwas programme organised by Directorate of Sainik Welfare, Assam at the State War Memorial, Dighalipukhuri, Guwahati held to commemorate India’s historic victory in the 1999 Kargil War and to honour the courage, sacrifice and unwavering commitment of the nation’s armed forces.
